Montana Wyoming Systems is seeking a NICET II certified low voltage technician to join our growing team. Montana Wyoming Systems is a division of Yellowstone Electric and specializes in installation, testing, and repairs of low voltage systems. We are seeking a low voltage technician to assist in projects related to fire alarm, video surveillance, access control, nurse call, clock programming, and sound, among others. This position is full-time, 40 hrs a week, Monday – Thursday, 10-hour days, with potential overtime as needed to meet project timelines. We are members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and offer the following benefits:

The right candidate will obtain or possess a Montana State Fire Alarm license within 30 days, achieve a NICET II or higher, possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, be willing to travel and stay overnight away from home, and work in compliance with union regulations and our company safety policy.
As part of the Montana Wyoming Systems team, you will install, test, and repair low voltage projects, complete recertification or performance testing of low voltage systems after repairs or system additions, provide project supervision of Apprentices while they are working alongside you, communicate job status and work schedule with the Project Manager, provide all job closeout reports to the project manager and office staff, and complete work according to all applicable codes and company standards while maintaining the highest safety, quality, and customer experience standards.
