Our company traces its roots back to 1937 when Carl W. Bennett began installing and maintaining the city’s streetlights. Three years later, Yellowstone Electric Co. was formed. During the 1940s Billings was undergoing rapid growth. Developers trusted Yellowstone Electric to keep projects moving forward on time and on budget. By the 1950s the company’s superior reputation resulted in a contract with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to assist with the installation of its underground Cheyenne Mountain complex.

Over the following decades Yellowstone Electric has earned the distinction of being a preferred electrical contracting firm with a diverse portfolio of successful projects.
